Conditions of Hire

The Hirer hires the equipment according to the following terms and conditions.
The hirer will be required to sign the following statement at the time of installation.

The Hirer:

• Shall upon booking pay a deposit, which will be refunded in the event of rain or high wind conditions.
• Full Payment required on installation.
• Shall forfeit his / her deposit if the booking is cancelled by the Hirer less than 2 weeks prior to the date of booking. Excluding weather cancellations.
• The hirer will be required to pay a $30 cleaning bond at time of installation. This will be fully refunded at the end of the hire if the equipment is in the same condition as delivered.
• Hereby accepts responsibility for the loss of or damage to property and injury to any person/s resulting from the use of or operation of the equipment and hereby indemnifies Castles 4 Kids Ltd against any claims which may be made against it by any person.  Loss of Castle WILL result in hirer paying replacement costs
• Hereby accepts full responsibility for the full replacement costs in the event of theft of or damage to the equipment between the time of installation and return and shall pay the same upon demand.
• Hereby accepts responsibility for the use of the equipment, ensuring:
  • The equipment stands on a flat lawned surface, but if on a hard surface, the hirer will ensure it remains on the provided ground cover.
  • The equipment is operated by and under the strict supervision of a responsible adult.
  • No children over the age of 10 plays on the equipment.
  • No child plays near the fan or on the equipment with shoes, sharp objects, water or food.
  • The fan is not left unattended in the rain, or operated in high wind conditions, and the hirer shall ensure these terms are complied with, whether or not they are the user or operator of the equipment.
  • Standard 3 pin plug power supply is to be made available within extension cord reach (20 Metres). An RCD unit must be used which will be supplied. A generator is available where power is not able to be provided. An additional charge will be levied for use of the generator.
  • All jewellery is removed from children before they enter the equipment.
  • If the fan ceases to work, all children are to be removed as quickly as possible from the equipment.
• Accepts that he / she is liable for all legal costs in the event of Castles 4 Kids Ltd being required to institute action for recovery of the equipment. The value of replacement of the equipment or for collection of charges, and the Hirer acknowledges that they shall be liable for interest on those amounts.
• Hirer acknowledges that Castles 4 Kids Ltd has offered the equipment in proper working order fit for use as intended by Hirer as from the time of collection of equipment.
• Agrees to follow any verbal instructions given at the time of collecting the equipment.

DO NOT under any circumstances get the castle and equipment wet.
